[IRCA] TP 7 Feb Victoria version
Not a very exciting morning. Quite a contrast to TAs the night before.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
972 HLCA woman in Korean, man agreeing. Waited until 1540UT to get
to this strength
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1510UT
1566 HLAZ assumed with ballad 1533UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
693 JOAB pips heard at 1500UT, but not much else made it through the splash
1116 man talking, DU English intonation 1513UT
1575 man then woman mumbling 1544-5UT; traces of audio kept popping
up until after 1600UT, but nothing identifiable; presumed VoA?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
594 603 828 891 1134 1242 1323 1422 1503 1593 seemed to be Asian;
702 846 891 1017 1098 1548 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
