[IRCA] Improved 1 kHz DSP Audio in CC Skywave SSB Model

Although a detailed investigation of the new C.Crane Skywave SSB model is still ongoing, during the recent Kona, Hawaii DXpedition one thing became clear pretty quickly-- C.Crane has made a significant improvement in the audio quality of its 1 kHz DSP filtering. This was in addition to the previous CC Skywave model's advantage in 1 kHz DSP audio fidelity relative to the Tecsun PL-310, PL-380 and other Tecsun Si4734 DSP chip models. The improved audio clarity in the SSB model's 1 kHz setting can probably best be appreciated by listening to a few MP3's recorded on the new Skywave SSB model in Hawaii in the 1 kHz DSP setting, along with a few recorded in August (Rockwork 4 DXpedition) on the previous CC Skywave model, and on the Tecsun PL-380 (with both also in their 1 kHz DSP setting).

The new SSB model's 1 kHz DSP filtering is just as effective as that of the other two models in reducing unwanted splatter, but the improved audio fidelity is a big bonus. Although not quite up to the standard of the Perseus-SDR or other table receivers, it is definitely as good as it gets in pocket radios.
