[IRCA] TP 18 Dec Victoria version
A dull morning, with a small sunrise high band blip.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ male singing after woman in Chinese 1545UT; audio pretty
continuously from 1530-1615UT, but this was the peak
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
the above passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
603 soft music, somewhat stronger on west Flag 1550UT, presumed Korea.
612 man singing, ballad; 1518UT, likely 4QR?
828 man talking, Japanese intonation 1502UT
1593 CNR1 man talking //6125 1548UT, better on north Flag despite
ugly splash from 1600kHz
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
774 909 1314 1332 1386 1422 1503 seemed to be Asian;
1017 1098 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
