[IRCA] TP 8 Dec Victoria version
Much like yesterday, though perhaps with a touch more signs of down
under stations. But the powerhouses were still Asian for the most
part, and the bulk of the action was between 1445 and 1545UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK woman and man in Japanese 1530UT
774 JOUB generally quite strong after 1500UT, and most consistent station today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
612 4QR pop music 1509UT; IDd earlier with //702
828 JOBB man in Japanese //774 1504UT
972 HLCA woman in Korean, man agreeing 1525UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
747 JOIB man talking // 774 1535\UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 JOIK woman and man talking //594 1530UT
603 woman singing gentle song 1455UT; HLSA? gone by hour
693 JOAB man talking //828 sneaking through splatter 1504T
702 2BL man and woman talking //612 1456UT
774 3LO pips and fanfare, deep under JOUB 1500T
837 JOQK man and woman talk //594 1502UT
873 JOGB man talking //828 1505UT
891 mix of assumed 5AN, woman talking, DU English intonation, but
also with NHK pips and music //594 1500UT, so JOHK
1134 pop music likely JOQR 1524UT
1566 woman singing 1522UT, seemed to be the best that HLAZ did today
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)

seemed to be Asian;
576 738 1098 seemed to be DU
