I own an FDM-S2/FDM-SW2 and have been making top-of-hour recordings of
the AM/MW band for awhile. When I replay the recordings, I use the A and
B buttons of the ELAD software to clip and save any new station ID's I
encounter.
Is there a way to convert these clipped .wav files so that they can be
played on generic media/audio players? (They don't seem to be normal
..wav files because none of the audio apps I tried can play them.)
The only solution I have come up with is to use a computer system
recorder app to record the computer audio output while playing the
clippings with the ELAD software, but this seems to me to be a clumsy
way of doing it and it sounds to me like some quality is lost in the
process.
There has got to be a better way!
Thank you in advance!
Stan, WA1LOU
P.S. I posted this question on the ELAD mail list, but the answers I
received there did not directly answer my question!
