[IRCA] TP 11 Sept Victoria version
Note to self. Yesterday was the 10th, today was the 11th.
The 11th, this morning, was not as good as the last couple of
mornings, most emphasis on NZ it seemed
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
612 4QR man talking DU English 1331UT,
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
603 Waatea, choral singing //765
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
657 likely Star. Man talking DU English 1303UT, no parallels available.
756 RNZ National woman talking DU English 1328UT
765 R. Kahungunu choral singing //603 1306UT, best strength so far this season
1116 4BC likely man and woman DU English
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
531 man talking, DU English intonation 1313UT
567 RNZ National ballad //756 1246UT
576 man talking DU English?
702 vocal pop music 1326UT, assumed Magic, not //ABC
747 4QS man talking //774 1331UT
774 3LO man talking //747
828 3GI man talking //612 1331UT
909 quiet vocal music 1236UT, likely Star, but no parallels
1035 man talking, DU English intonation 1338UT
1386 rather lively Indian sounding vocal music 1241UT, likely Tarana
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
nothing seemed to be Asian;
819 837 855 1008 1026 1053 1098 (immense) 1107 1179 1251
1458 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
