[IRCA] TP 7 Sept Victoria version
This morning was a bit of a sleeper, initially just a few of the big
gun Asians, but towards sunrise, both Asians and DUs popped up fairly
indiscriminately
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
612 4QR folky music, followed by man talking, then woman "this is
Nightlife...ABC Radio" 1338UT
774 JOUB English lessons after pips 1300UT: "hi, I'm Hannah Grace,
thanks for joining us"
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1316UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
603 choral music with guitar accompaniment 1252UT, assumed Waatea
828 JOBB English lessons 1253UT
972 HLCA two men in Korean 1309UT
1287 JOHR man in Japanese 1320UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
576 2RN woman talking DU English inflection 1304UT; ID'd //585 at 1323UT
585 7RN slow music followed by man talking 1323UT
702 rapid instrumental music 1257UT
747 JOIB English lessons 1239UT //774
756 man declaiming, DU English inflection 1252UT
792 4RN musi //585 1337UT; lots of splatter to make it rough
873 JOGB man in Japanese /774 1327UT
1323 CRI? man talking, Russian inflection 1312UT
1548 4QD man and woman talking, sneaking through 1550 splatter //612 1318UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
846 864 945 1053 1242 1269 1314 seemed to be Asian;
558 567 621 675 891 1098 1386 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
