[IRCA] TP 6 Sept Victoria version
And, this morning made up for yesterday's lack of Asians. A few
suspect Zedders appeared among the Asians, and that seemed to be it..
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1306UT
774 JOUB English lessons 1240UT
1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese 1243UT; there was some audio from the
earlier Chinese program too, but nothing like this level
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
828 JOBB English lessons, just before 1300UT pips
972 HLCA man in Korean 1243UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
747 JOIB English lessons 1249UT; battling evil 750 splatter
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
603 soft music, island feel 1251UT; continued across hour , so not
HLSA, also known for soft music
693 JOAB English lessons //774 1246UT; without 690 splat, would have
been quite readable
891 JOHK pips at 1200 and 1300UT followed by man, weakly in //594
1044 CRI? woman talking 1312UT, Japanese inflection
1287 man talking, Japanese inflection 1305UT
1323 CRI? woman talking, Russian inflection 1256UT, into orchestral
music with an oriental tinge to it..
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
711 738 837 846 855 1053 1134 1206 1242 1251 1386 1575 1593
seemed to be Asian;
675 702 756 891 1098 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
