[IRCA] TP 4 Sept Victoria version

Mostly an Asian morning today; a few DUs came in quite late and with little enthusiasm.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

774 JOUB English lessons 1246UT; mumbling far underneath might have been 3LO, but no parallels
828 JOBB sudden ooost at 1309UT, with woman in Japanese, //774

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

693 JOAB woman in Japanese briefly 1158UT, pips on hour were well under CBU splatter
702 2BL man in DU English 1320UT //612
747 JOIB English lessons //774 1242UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

576 man mumbling in a DU English sort of way 1309UT
594 JOAK woman talking, Japanese inflection 1249UT; pips at 1300UT, and //837 at 1305UT when both quite weak 612 4QR woman talking, DU inflection 1242UT; not properly ID'd until //702 at 1320UT 837 JOQK very weak with man talking //594 1305UT (though 3WV might have been interfering with 594; it was pretty rough)
972 woman talking, could have been Korean 1310UT
1503 man talking, DU English inflection; briefly 1337UT
1566 woman talking , Japanese inflection 1243UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

 657 1386 seemed to be Asian;
  603 675 738 891 1098 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
