[IRCA] TP 19 July Victoria version
Quite a promising morning with both Asians and DU signals; quite a
few of the latter, including low grade audio over a ten minute period.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
no
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
no
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
576 two men talking on telephone DU English 1227UT, likely 2RN?
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
594 man mumbling, DU English inflection 1228UT
675 RNZ National, woman talking //756 1230UT
702 man talking DU English inflection 1225UT
756 RNZ National laid back music 1225UT, ID'd //675 a few minutes later
774 man talking Japanese inflection 1108UT
828 vocal harmonies, briefly coming out of the murk 1223UT, no
parallels found, but likely DU by this time?
909 male ballad 1226UT
963 laid back vocals 1231UT
1386 man talking, hard to guess inflection in 1380 splash 1239UT,
likely Tarana by this time
1107 woman and man talking DU English? 1223UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
747 828 972 1287 1566 seemed to be Asian;
594 774 792 882 918 1008 1026 1035 1053 1098 1161 1503 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
