[IRCA] TP 15 July Victoria version
An interesting mix, Asians first, then New Zealanders, with several
audios. Best morning in awhile, and not too bad for mid-July.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
no
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
no
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
675 RNZ National man in DU English //756, then into jazzy music
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1140UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
594 man talking, Japanese inflection 1133 and 1144UT
756 RNZ National man talking 1202UT; ID'd at 1226UT //675
1287 man talking, Japanese inflection 1148UT, only heard briefly.
1386 man and woman talking, sounded like English lessons 1200UT, but
rather late for NHK2, and not listed at this time anyway. Pop music
heard at 1214UT, likely Tarana?
1503 man talking DU English inflection, sounded like preaching? 1221UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
828 891 1566 seemed to be Asian;
882 909 936 963 1053 1107 1179 1386 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
Nick
