[IRCA] TP 15 May Victoria version

Again Asians, with a bit of second tier signs, but overall nothing was strong

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

back to normal

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

the above, passing through

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1566 HLAZ woman in Chinese 1105UT, briefly at this level

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

603 man talking briefly sounded DU English? someone else on phone? 1138UT
774 JOUB man talking 1121UT //828; also noted 1159UT NHK2 interval music and pips
828 JOBB woman talking Japanese inflection 1059UT, ID'd later //774
954 man and woman talking Japanese inflection 1153 and 1155UT
1323 woman talking Russian inflection, 1124 and 1135UT
1386 NHK2 extreme minimalist, man talking, very weak but //774 1143UT
1422 man and woman talking Japanese inflection 1203UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

747 891 1134  1206 1242   seemed to be Asian;
756 909 1098 1116 seemed DU

best wishes,

Nick
