[IRCA] TP 9 April Victoria version

A bit of a sleeper of a morning, with a couple of low band " third tier" Japanese sneaking through, while the big guns were often not that big. Everything was pretty erratic, but peak action was in the 1300-1315UT time frame.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK Japanese hilarity in the studio briefly peaking at this level 1314UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

774 JOBB English lessons 1310UT
1566 HLAZ presumed with choral music 1246UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

567 JOIK man in Japanese 1308UT
828 JOBB man in Japanese //774 1304UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

531 JOQG extreme minimalist, man talking very weak //567 1308UT, but actually got a little stronger at 1313UT with woman talking //594
585 JOPG man talking //567 1305UT
603 JOOG likely, man mumbling //594 1306UT
612 4QR man talking //702 1257UT, heard several other times in the next 10 minutes or so
702 2BL man talking //612 1257UT
747 JOIB brief peak 1316UT, man in Japanese //774
774 3LO man mumbling beneath JOUB, seemed //702 1254UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

891 972    seemed to be Asian;
1116 1098 seemed DU

best wishes,

Nick
