It looks like WNCT 1070 Greeneville has Sporting News Radio at night.
So they are a candidate for the errant 1070 station. Right
now
(11/18 1639 ET) I have them at 1070.071 +-1, down 14 or so hz from
last night. What are you guys hearing?

Thar ye go matey. Maybe feedback into oscillator from something not
grounded. I understand they are on two towers as CP gets built. The
frequency could shift around in a random manner.
That's what WNCT stands for N=never C=can
T=tell.
Har-har-harrumph!

PS Everyone one here in Greenville (NC) is pro-Pirates (East Carolina
University). Both WGBH-1250 and WDLX-930 are "Pirate
Radio."
