[IRCA] Valentines Day TP DX West Coast of Canada

Things were not that sweet at 1500 hours - but better than nothing.

I have pulled down my FLAGS for the time being until some real DX returns -

Put up a MyAntennas.com 80-10 end fed (140' long) in my backyard between
4 fly points (3 bamboo poles and 1 birch tree!) - It tunes up from 160
through 6
meters effortlessly.

Nick's Fish Barrel led the way for some good audio or solid open carriers on
594, 774 and 828.

Lots of carriers up and down the dial but did not spend more than 2 - 3
minutes on the
radio as shower, breakfast and work called.

Last night 1215 khz (assuming from the UK...) was coming through quite well
on what
is now a pretty omni-directional antenna.

Emergency Net last night

yard.

Best wishes to everyone on Valentines Day! May the DX be the object of your
desire and never break your heart.
