[IRCA] TP 3 Feb Victoria version

Pretty dull earlier on, and most of the limited action was closer to sunrise, with both DU and Asians turning up.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1287 JOHR two men in Japanese, one frantic, one calm, 1457UT after a rapid fade up from nowhere

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK woman in Japanese 1454UT
612 4QR man on phone to man in studio, DU English 1518UT
747 JOIB woman in Japanese //774 1523UT
1116 4BC assumed with man in DU English 1507UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

774 JOUB woman talking //747 1523UT
828 JOBB woman talking, very weak, //774 1411UT
972 sudden fade up to instrumental music, woman talking, Korean likely, 1510UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

1566 seemed to be Asian; 738 1098 1107 seemed DU

best wishes,

Nick
