Actually, with Australia being a big continent, a quick look using DX Atlas
gives a broad band between 238 degrees to about 275 degrees, Chuck. So
plenty of room for a water path there.  Your point is taken about the main
land mass of Haida Gwaii, though.  73,..Walt
