[IRCA] TP 27 Jan Victoria version

The higher indices had an effect, but didn't wipe things out
completely. Except for 1422, sunrise enhancement was pretty much MIA
today

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at
least briefly):

not today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by
a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1422 JORF assumed. man and woman in Japanese after slow oriental sounding
pop music, peaking at 1530UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise
could be understood by a native speaker:

774 JOUB Chinese lessons 1337UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at
by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 JOIK woman talking //594, both at edge of audibility, 1529UT
594 JOAK man and woman talking, Japanese inflection 1324UT ID'd later by
//567
828 JOBB man talking, Japanese inflection 1259UT, followed by NHK pips

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)

747 972 1323 1503 1566 seemed to be Asian; 612 seemed DU

best wishes,

Nick
