[IRCA] TP 11 Jan Victoria version
Very lackluster. A few carriers, most likely DU, from 1300 to
1430UT, then very poor until just before local sunrise, when a slight
Asiatic lift occurred above 1400kHz.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
not here either
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1566 HLAZ woman in Chinese 1555UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
1422 and 1557 were close, but otherwise just HLAZ passing through
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
567 702 774 891 1116 all earlier and likely DU; 1422 1503 1557
1575 1593 near sunrise, and seemed to be Asian
best wishes,
Nick
