Thanks for your comments on HLAZ's signal early this morning, and it's interesting that you heard their signal nosedive around 1320 just like I did. 
Actually I was recording the station as part of an A/B antenna test at the time. 1566-HLAZ had S9 peaks around 1257, along with its partner (the North Korean Jammer) which had peaks of around S5. https://app.box.com/s/owdvvzi0kulsvlpnv0mk6uyx8ovtrqn0 

It's very unusual to hear such a dramatic swoon-- both of them fizzled down to nothing by the end of the Japanese program around 1344, with only a ghostly carrier after that.
