Coliin, as I have the ALA loop up all of the time, along with my 2 super
loops, I can categorically state that the loops (and Pennants/Flags, I'm
sure), blow away the ALA loop. The ALA loop is a great all around
compromise antenna, working nicely from LW to the top of the SW band.
That's why I have it. For TA/TP work, however, my super loops are much,
much better, and quieter, too. 73,...Walt
