Unless there's cabinet radiation from the transmitters themselves (and they're newish transmitters that shouldn't have that problem), shielded coax is a wonderful thing. It keeps the RF output from the transmitters going up to the antennas, and it can keep the RF from your remote antenna going straight into your radio without picking up much of anything from those FM transmitters.

If you were at an AM transmitter site, it might be a different story. But I agree with Walt - it's worth the attempt!
