Re: [IRCA] TP Report 11/29- WOW!!

Congratulations on the great list of Asian receptions this morning, Paul-- which you certainly deserve after facing the -24 degree weather. You definitely live in a different TP zone than us (a total clunker session here).

<<< 666: Pretty good signal, sounded similar to 729 (see below)
666 audio: >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb72jcGieGA

Japanese from JOBK in Osaka, 100 kw // 594 and 729.

<<< 729: Overall, pretty good signal with male singer.
729 audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fa2bNMSyeIg

Once again, Japanese from 729-JOCK in Nagoya, 50 kW // 594 and 666

<<< 738: Music with a pretty good signal, something is heard slightly under it.
738 audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ0Ljz4iSrw

Most likely Korean music from 100 kw HLKG in Daegu; most likely BEL2 in Taiwan underneath

<<< 837 Fair to good signal with man talking, another man talking under him.
837 audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9sWrbw-UVA

Japanese from NHK1 Synchros dominant (probably JOQK, 10 kW in Niigata), Chinese underneath

<<< 864: A bit of a noisy signal but easily understandable, listenable music.
The speech was modulated a bit lower then the music and not quite as easily
understood
864 audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3NYTZyRJj8

Korean from 100 kW HLKR in Gangneung

<<< 954 song or promo music ending with woman talking. Pretty good signal

<<< 1008 Good signal with a woman talking.
1008 Audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFCvioixLW0

Japanese from 50 kW JONR in Osaka

overall good.
1044 audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5VDKjMhQho

Korean from 10 kW KBS in Samcheok; probably CRI's Japanese service underneath

<<< 1053 Pretty good signal, a little noise under it from another station. You
can hear a woman talking when 1053 goes dead air for a few seconds.
1053 Audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Njf0OwgxZwo

The music is almost certainly from 50 kW JOAR in Nagoya. Chinese speech underneath.

<<< 1098 Decent signal but a little noise and another station under it, I think
1098 audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXR3gK8GU2g

Chinese from one of the CNR stations

<<< 1134: Near local like with music!
1134 audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJycbqLETo0

Japanese music from 100 kW JOQR in Tokyo

<<< *1170: Whoever this is is blasting in over semi local 50kw KJNP 1170(300
miles to my east). you can hear KJNP well well underneath whatever/whoever
I have on 1170!.*
*1170 audio >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPPC4gGBxGY
< https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPPC4gGBxGY >*

Korean from 500 kW HLSR in Gimje

<<< 1206: At least thats what i think this is, I don't have it marked in my
