Re: [IRCA] ABC 6NM 1215khz Northam, Western Australia

Hi Paul,

A search of the ABC website resulted in this archive link to a recording of the actual program that you received on 6NM at 1837 UTC on November 25th-- "Overnights," with Rod Quinn as the announcer. This is a 4-hour recording, but you can presumably listen to the first hour of the recording to match the exact segment of the broadcast that matches the recording in your video. This would certainly provide confirmation of your reception of 6NM-- a phenomenal reception for the distance and transmitter power. Please note that the early morning hour in Australia is on the next day (the 26th) in Australia. As far as the announcer's voice on your 1215 video and Rod Quinn's voice in the archive recording, they certainly sound identical to me! http://www.abc.net.au/radio/programs/overnights/overnights/8045898

NewsTalk ZB Assistant Content Director Angus Mabey just confirmed the
1215khz signal I heard was NOT them.
