Re: [IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 11-17...a bit more in Victoria
I haven't looked through the recordings yet, but live listening said
that things got mildly interesting here around
1515-1525UT....enhancement at sunrise; intriguing that Gary was
hearing things an hour earlier.
1566 was perfectly readable for a minute or two, especially on the
north Flag, and 1593 was weak but //6125 for a firm CNR1. Also there
was a small bit of audio on 594 at the same time. So, looks like
winter DX is starting to appear.
best wishes,
Nick

Well, for the curious in Victoria, actual listening revealed that
it's probably time to book a plane (or dog sled) for Galena, Alaska.
A collection of ghostly big guns showed up on 774, 972 and 1566
starting around 1330, and fair-level Chinese audio appeared on both
1566 and 1593 around 1410 (during peak sunrise enhancement, if you
can call it that). Anemic carriers also showed up on 1134, 1377,
1503 and 1575 around the same time. As for the "promising DU w/
levels fair to good at times," I promise you that you will need to
wait until Nick's report to see what actual listening revealed.
