[IRCA] TP 27 Oct Victoria version

Recovery is occurring....including one Asian, surprising as that may seem.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

recovery perhaps, but the DX is not leaping out of bed shouting at the top of its lungs...

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

603 not sunrise enhancement, but assumed Waatea with man in island sounding language 1130UT, and teletalk with island sound language, both at this level. Not heard later
612 4QR ballad //702 at 1414UT
702 2BL ballad, then teletalk //612 at 1423UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

the above passing through

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

621 3RN // 576 2RN man talking, in parallel at 1351UT
747 JOIB pips 1400UT, then intro music for English lessons
774 3LO teletalk then Gene Pitney song 1424UT //702

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter) lots of near audio here

 531 567 594 675 738 756 765 828 909 1008 1098

best wishes,

Nick
