[IRCA] TP 18 Oct Victoria version
Not much time here just now, but got a crack at this morning's
files...very Asian, lots buried there, and unfortunately not
uncovered (carriers near audio, might have faded up when was tuning elsewhere).
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK woman in Japanese 1417UT
747 JOIB kingpin NHK2 today Chinese lessons 1354UT, and also quite
strong in following English lessons
774 JOUB Chinese lessons 1355UT
828 JOBB Chinee lessons 1356
954 JOKR man and woman in Japanese 1413UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
738 Tahiti, man in French 1400UT, would have been perfectly readable
but for splash; by 1410 and unidentifiable mess
1053 Korean jammer 1358UT
1287 JOHR man in Japanese 1410UT //954 with slight delay
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese 1416UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
972 HLCA man in Korean 1412UT
1116 4BC man in DU English 1356UT
1242 JOLF man in Japanese //1332 at 1405UT;
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
567 JOIK man in Japanese //594 1357UT
603 ? soft music, and another station 1402UT
702 2BL ABC fanfaree 1400UT
873 JOGB general mumbles //774 1406UT
945 NHK1 man and woman talking //594 1408UT
891 JOHK man talking //594 1403UT
1089 operatic sounding female vocal 1408UT, might have had traces of
NHK2 there also.
1179 man and woman talking Japanese inflection 1419UT
1332 JOSF woman talking //1242 1405UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter) lots of near audio here
621 846 918 936 1098 1143 1188 1251 1269 1278 1314 1323 1386 1422
best wishes,
Nick
