You can just BARELY hear WRKO under WAPA San Juan.

WRKO is one of the stronger Boston stations here at South Yarmouth, MA on Cape Cod.

V-Soft (average of 3 closest post offices 02664, 02675, 02660) gives signal strength of 4.42 mV/m.

Distance from here to the WRKO Burlington, MA transmitter site is 122.6 km / 76.1 miles on a bearing of 316.6 degrees.

So it's interesting how a station at a distance of over 2600 km / 1620 miles can come in with a signal that totally blows WRKO out of the water some nights.

Factors to consider are that the route to Puerto Rico is something like 98% water and the antenna I'm using puts WRKO near its 345 degree cardioid null (effectively making it more like a 500 watt station instead of a 50 kW one).

680 would not necessarily sound like this on a typical car or table radio.
