Think about it, Colin.  South is no where near the Pacific.  For that, you
are looking much more to the west, and great circle to Australia is
practically due west from our QTH.  It might work well for TA openings,
across the Pole.  For my QTH, my FLG 100 amplified loop is directed 270 deg
or so.  This is almost the only antenna that is regular for TPs.  The due
North corner fed loop rarely will have Asian signals on it, but not too
often.  But, it's also the only antenna I have for Europe.  73,...Walt
