Another test from KOTZ would be excellent if you could arrange it, Paul,
especially if the three Chicago stations, 670 WSCR, 720 WGN and 780
WBBM, were to schedule joint down time sometime this DX season. My
recollection of the last KOTZ test March 10, 2012 (and thank you very much
for arranging it), was that conditions were quite auroral, robbing eastern
and Midwestern DXers of any chance to hear KOTZ. Heck, KBOI was conducting
a DX test at the same time and I couldn't hear a trace of it from my QTH in
Madison WI. The auroral conditions were great for Latin American stations
and it did turn out to be a productive night, but it would sure be nice if
we got another chance under conditions more favorable to western DX.
