The PAL was on a 3 month update cycle last year, but I fell behind the curve earlier this year. The main reason was I'd gotten my hands on an official list of 1800+ Chinese stations mostly but it was m in Chinese. I ended up cutting and pasting from an Excel spreadsheet into Google translate, comparing the name/location/power with what I already had in the PAL, and resolving the many discrepancies . A tedious and time-consuming process to be sure, but hopefully worth th effort.
Future updates should be more frequent now that I'm a few weeks from retirement.

Downside to that, is that the present version is from Jan 2016, I think, so it's not updated all that often.
