Prime Minister Paul Martin to Launch
National Weekly Radio Address with Discussion of Softwood
Lumber
OTTAWA ? October 28, 2005 ? Prime Minister Paul Martin will launch his first
national weekly radio address on Sunday, October 30, 2005, with a two minute
discussion of the softwood lumber trade dispute with the United States. This
will be the first of what are planned to be regular addresses by the Prime
Minister on radio covering a variety of topics. Below is a list of stations that will be broadcasting the address every
Sunday at approximately 10:58 AM (local time unless otherwise
indicated): A weekly prime ministerial radio address/paid
politcal message isn't exactly a Canadian tradition, though U.S. presidents
have been doing it for years. Does Martin think
he's Dubyaman?
