I have a boat. It how I check the tower at WRIB. Check http://www.wrib.com
for a picture.

Had to send some meters back for recalibration. One of them had a
fluid-damped movement that didn't come from the factory. The meter face was
3/4 full of water. Other than that, nothing. The place was built to deal
with a flood of that size, and it worked.

The snow and ice is much worse than a little flood now and again. If there
were more stations in the Naples, FL area, I'd be there in a New York
Minute!
