[IRCA] Broadcasting Old Top 40 era airchecks

I volunteer jock for a not for profit station (and am paid to do engineering
work) and was approached to host a weekly feature show that would be
centered around playing old airchecks, essentially from the heyday of Top 40
mass appeal radio. Perhaps a modern 'How radio was' you could coin it...
It sounds very interesting to do and as an aircheck enthusiast and
collector, I'm quite flattered they turned to me.

If played in a context of a historical look back at radio, I wonder if this
could actually fly. Isn't there an non-comm FM broadcast station in New
Jersey doing this already?

Thoughts??
