I'm just the opposite as far as "reminiscing" with the QSL's- I look at mine all the time and I generally remember the reception and the subsequent verie and of course NOT getting any reply helps to recall the reception even more!! Still fun nonetheless.

Good idea. In the '80s, I recorded a lot of DX, and I still listen to those tapes occasionally, whereas I rarely look through my QSL albums.

Now, I just listen and log my receptions.  There's probably a lot of DXers like me who have stopped sending reports.
 

About half the time I record my reception. Its better than a QSL.
