I too record receptions now, as opposed to sending
for a QSL. Not that I didn't have alot of fun getting mail from radio
stations back when.
My QSLs are still prized possessions, as well as my
recordings.
A couple of years ago, I digitized all my old tape
recordings - one wav file per individual recording. Not a small
task. Since I wrote my own logging, radio control program (R8B), I have it
set up so that I can play a recording directly from the program. Kinda
handy.
I am adding recordings to my website, http://www.n4fxc.com, as I have time.
Currently, all I have up are a few TA, Carribean and South American recordings -
all from the 1960s. More to be added as I have time.
I enjoy this maillist, I just need to turn on the
radio more as opposed to the computer!
