Re: [IRCA] MW-IBOC carrier power/ IBOC noise blanker?

Dan,

Thanks your e mail. 3333W does sound more like it. 625W would be weaker
compared to the S Meter reading I do get.

In this ever changing digital world we are entering, has anyone thought
of a complex digital noise blanker to take the IBOC noise out? I can
hear several of you saying, that is impossible being part of the
broadcasters signal. But the technology of today has done many things
that a few years ago were not considered possible. I know without the
current noise blankers, I would have a tough time DXing here because I
live next to an electric fence. The noise blankers take 99% of it out.
So why not some complicated noise blanker to kill the IBOC hash? It is
possible? Has anyone thought of it? I am sure it would not be an easy
task, but can it be done? Any thoughts on the subject?
