Not to mention that American Graffiti-type people live for the days that they can gloriously return to yesteryear. I tuned out KFRC when underground rock started on FM in 1967, and before that I preferred KYA to KFRC because of lesser regimentation. Now, their format reversal means (to me) higher modulation levels, less opportunity to get good DX and a few more souped-up 1940 Fords on the road.
