I'm hearing the strange beeping as
it's described on and around 660 kc at 8:50 pm EDT here in Plant City east
of Tampa. It peaks to the NNE-SSW on my 2 foot box loop. A spread spectrum
signal makes sense and I know that the U.S. Government still uses the MF AM
broadcast band for communication.
