Is the chirping noise continuous
and has it stopped at all since you have lived at your present QTH? You
might want to turn off all the circuit breakers in your house one at a time to
see if it's coming from a new fangled gadget in your own home. It could also be
coming from a nearby neighbor. If you can rule out your and your neighbor(s)
house(s) then you can look for an outside source.
The chirp reminds me of an
ionosphere transmitting sounder gone crazy and OTH HF radar. Any government
or military installations in your area?
