Yep Terry. But mostly on CDs. Don't think many stations have made it their standard format. Country/Western from 30s thru mid 50s usually is known as 'Classic Country'. Stations such as
WAMU & WDVX have once a week Classic Country shows lasting about 3 hours each. I'm sure there are more around. Some stations (not in California) probably even offer a Classic Country format.
Legends of Country though, is a bit different. There you have Jimmy Rodgers from the 30s, The Carter Family from even earlier & the 40s group, such as Jimmy Wakely, Gene Autry, Margaret
Whiting, Spade Cooley and the like. Good stuff, I like it!
