Fascinating stuff, much to research. Don Fido's STL's believed to be telco (?), but, reports last couple years have Italians, Japanese (?) and chicoms....sorry, another ten years in Peoples' Reeducational Work Camp....ahem, our 'partners in prosperity' upgrading AM/ FM sta's.
Some in ex-pat community say AM's north of 1300 going off air, replaced by FM. Not unreasonable to assume upgrade of STL via satcom or ? will accompany? Hmmm.....
Any reports of wobblers prior to last year or so? Maybe switch from telco/micro to sat?
