Re: [IRCA] KMRY WEB SITE

Mike, I love your explanation, pure genius! I was going to ask if KMRY aired any high school sports. Maybe I'll ask tomorrow, or maybe next week, or...nah, forget it.
Thanks everyone, efforts appreciated.

The problem isn't the intensity of the graphics.  The coder must have just completed a Java class, so he dumped a bunch of Java applets in, without considering that a Microsoft browser uses the Microsoft implementation of Java (NOT real Java), and he didn't include any code to make sure it would work in any browser.

I think at least half the technical people on the internet believe themselves to be a master of it because they learned how to spell it.  I used to spend my days providing systems/desktop support to a bunch of young consultants at an internet company.  I always reserved the last hour of the day for (a) 30 minutes of banging my head against the wall, and (2) a prolonged conversation with the ducks and geese in the lagoon while drinking a beer.

The geese were probably more capable than the consultants.

Art,

The site appears to be graphics intense. I have 2GB+ RAM and the
page opens at a snail's pace. The links are there - what information did
you want?
