Re: [IRCA] [NRC-AM] Re: [AMFMTVDX] Should SkywaveListeningbeprotected?

I am ready to join the fight!

Local WSBR-AM 740 kHz Boca Raton, Florida "Moneytalk Radio" and it's unfathomable use of IBOC, is hissing all over one of my Wobblers on 750.  I have to null ever so carefully to hear a thing that cuts through noise like a banshee.

So...who do I write?  Fidel?

What I should do is call WSBR and ask why a talk station needs "High Definition" audio to begin with.  Oh, and by the way, how do I tune that in on my Philco?

I still think stations like WSBR have notions of putting data -- stock quotes -- on those subcarriers, even though everyone tells me that is not possible.  Now you have an audience, listen to business programming and watch the stock quotes tick by.  But wha'da I know.

Good. Contacting the station that gets QRM'd is the best way to handle
this.
Maybe if we all do this in our markets, it may do more good.
