We live in a free society or mostly free, but being also a Capitalist
country where money talks, the big boys rule the roost. That is not
going to change. I don't like big business any more than most people.
But of course, big business is what employs millions of people.
Companies like Clear Channel or Entercom are not going away. I wish the
FCC would not have changed the rules in ownership. If you want to blame
someone, blame the FCC. They are supposed to serve the country, but they
end up serving the powers that be. If stations could not own more than 7
stations like in the past, things would be different today. You would
have more mom and pop operations. If satellite programming would not
have become a reality, there would be more local programming, but things
change and not always for the better....
