The more accurate description for this format is Christian; the vast majority of this is fundamentalist. When one mentions "religion", that would imply that any religion known to man could purchase airtime on the station, not just Christians. The average layman could be confused into thinking that one would hear the messages of Judaism, Buddhism, the Unification Church (founded by Sun Myung Moon) or other, non-fundamentalist faiths like Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy. This is why we have separate formats for those of the Roman Catholic faith and even a full-time shortwave station broadcasting the message of the Assemblies of Yahweh, a Hebrew Christian sect.
