Hi Steve:
Congratulations on your TA catches last night. Hearing TA's down in your
area is no mean feat, specially the 216-Monte Carlo catch. I've only heard
them once up here and that was back in March of '83 when they were still on
their previous frequency of 218kHz, unless you want to count when I heard
them from the south of France a few years ago. As I said earlier, conditions
here last night were very aural with I nice blue/green glow coming from the
north eastern sky, and when that happens I rarely hear anything outside of
Alberta or Northern BC. Last night I could hear down as far as the Pacific
NW, everything to the south and east was gone.
Conditions are better tonight, with audio on 162, 189 and 198. Nothing on
MW, not even carriers.
