OK....tonight's the night. After a delay of
two weeks for various reasons, I will definitely being doing the WNTP Audio
Proof-of-Performance tonight. The test will commence at 00:01 EST and
continue until finished, or until 02:00, whichever comes first.
Test will consist of Various tones at 95%, 75%,
50%, and 25% modulation. We plan on doing the test twice. First on
the 50KW Daytime system, and if time allows, on the 10KW night system. If
things go quickly enough, I will also repeat the test using our 5KW auxiliary
transmitter on the Daytime antenna system.
I will be using the Female Voice ID that Les sent
me. The announcement says, "This is WNTP testing. W. N. T. P.
Winston November Tango Papa testing."
Many of the tones will be sweeps since the test is
largely automated using a Neutrik A2-D test set. Solid tones will also be
sent when I to the noise measurements and IMD tests.
