Les,
Very good information
and Thank You for your efforts! FB! You noted that engineers would be
interested in recordings of their stations. This brings up a topic that
I've been thinking about for some time: "taped" reports. Many years ago,
reel-to-reel recordings were acceptable (heck, it was all we had), and then
along came cassettes. Today we have the ability to send cassettes, CDs, and
audio files via the Internet. But which medium do the engineers prefer? I'm not
adept at recording and sending .wav (etc) type files, though I'm certain that
many hobbyists know how.
To go a step further,
what about reports to "foreign" stations. What are other members using for
"taped" reports?
Anyone on the list,
either area, domestic or foreign --- if you send a "taped" report, what do you
use? Which method seems to have the most success? I'm not asking just for
myself, but in general for all DXers who send reports.
Again, Les, very good
information and thank you for helping the hobby.
Mike
