[IRCA] 1230 Mystery

Seems to me I read recently on one of these lists about a station(s) in
Mexico programming in German.  Last night between 0005-0035 PST 1/22 I
noted a station on 1230 kHz popping in/out with what sounded like
Germanic language talk.  German, Dutch, Yiddish, whatever.  Sounded more
like a religious sermon than political discussion.  Anyone else hearing
anything like this?  Kiwa loop was bearing basically SSE at the time.
Lots of domestic QRM.............
